Australian gov’t to establish new Bundaberg Hospital in Queensland

The facility will have 410 hospital beds.

The Australian government in Queensland has announced plans to establish a new Bundaberg Hospital in the Wide Bay region.

The facility will include 410 hospital beds, a bigger emergency department, expanded outpatient and diagnostic services, and more operating rooms.

The hospital will also feature a rooftop helipad.

The project is part of the Hospital Rescue Plan, which aims to provide over 2,600 new beds across the state.
