Australian gov’t allocates $6.4m in Echuca Regional Health upgrades

Two facilities will be housed on the top floor of the refurbished Lumeah building.

The Australian government has allocated $6.4m (A$10.2m) from the Regional Health Infrastructure Fund to upgrade dental and sterilisation facilities at Echuca Regional Health.

The funding will support the refurbishment of the hospital’s Oral Hygiene unit. Additionally, a new specialist facility will be established for the cleaning and sterilisation of surgical and medical equipment.

Both facilities will be housed on the top floor of the refurbished Lumeah building.
