Aier Eye Hospital Group to face slower revenue growth in 2025-26: report
Weaker demand for services and economic uncertainties pose key challenges.
Aier Eye Hospital Group is expected to see slower revenue growth in 2025-26 amidst weaker demand for services, uncertainties with China's economic recovery, and ongoing pressure on social medical insurance budgets.
A UOB Kay Hian report revised the company’s growth forecast for 2024-26 to 1.5%, 3.5%, and 5.0% year-on-year growth, compared to previous estimates of 1.5%, 7.0%, and 9.0%, respectively.
Meanwhile, several risks could further impact Aier's performance, including the potential for negative effects from policy changes and challenges related to both domestic and international business expansion.
“We believe the weak economic conditions may continue to cloud the visibility of revenue growth in 2025-26,” the report said.
