$70.5m Cowra Hospital redevelopment reaches structural completion
The facility will include renal dialysis, oncology services, and its first CT scanner.
The Australian government has announced the completion of the structural framework for the $70.5m (A$110.2m) Cowra Hospital redevelopment.
With structural works completed, construction will now focus on internal fit-outs, installation of services, and exterior finishes.
Once finished, the facility will feature an emergency department, general medical and surgical wards, a maternity unit with a nursery, ambulatory care, and a dental clinic.
Meanwhile, additional facilities will include renal dialysis, oncology services, and the hospital's first CT scanner.
Health services continue to operate throughout the redevelopment, which is scheduled for completion in 2025.
