Yoke Choo
Yoke Choo is responsible for leading and growing NetApp’s Singapore business.
An industry veteran- Yoke Choo has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to NetApp, Yoke Choo was the Analytics Platform Country Manager for IBM, Singapore. She has also held various leadership roles across APAC with Oracle and Hewlett-Packard. Yoke Choo holds an MBA from the University of Warwick (Warwick Business School) and a Bachelor of Science degree (Computer Science and Information Systems) from the National University of Singapore.
Yong Yih Ming
Mr Yong Yih Ming has almost two decades of healthcare experience as a business and operational leader with IHH Healthcare, one of the world’s largest healthcare networks with 82 hospitals in 10 countries, Raffles Medical Group (RMG), a leading integrated private healthcare provider in Asia, and Alexandra Hospital (AH), a Singapore tertiary hospital of the National University Health System.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of one of Singapore’s largest private tertiary and multi-specialty healthcare facility at Mount Elizabeth Hospital (MEH). Prior to this, he was General Manager of Singapore’s largest private network of outpatient ambulatory facilities and was heading the Covid-19 projects at RMG. He had hospital development and operations experiences at AH.
As Chief Executive Officer of MEH, he is responsible for its financial targets, operational quality, and licensee obligations of the 345-bed JCI accredited tertiary hospital with a community of 600 doctors and 1,300 healthcare workers. He is a member of the Medical Advisory Board, MCST Council and is also responsible for the multi-year hospital redevelopment project–Project Renaissance.
At RMG, he was an EXCO member and GM of Raffles Medical. He was responsible for the financial targets, growing and managing RMG’s corporate businesses, the operational quality and licensee obligations of the 50 ambulatory, primary care and health screening facilities, including national Covid-19 projects. In 2010, he led a team to set up RMG’s flagship medical facility in Shanghai, China. At AH, he managed ambulatory operations, operational support services and business development. He was a member of the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Planning Committee that designed the hospital and chaired the Operational Support Services Workgroup. He has guest lectured at the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health’s Master of Public Health programme since 2018 and holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the NUS Business School. He was a member of the MOH Primary Care Network Council and volunteers as a District Councillor with the South East Community Development Council since 2011.
Zakir Ahmed
Zakir Ahmed is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) at Kofax. This senior-level appointment reflects the exponential growth and market demand for intelligent automation solutions in APJ. Based in Singapore, Zakir is responsible for Kofax’s business growth success across the region and building strong partnerships with all of Kofax’s stakeholders. Passionate about customer success, Zakir joined Kofax with over two decades of global experience in management, customer acquisition, retention and sales leadership, complemented by a strong understanding of the APJ market.
Zhang Shaoting
Dr. Zhang Shaoting is the Vice President and Deputy Head of Research at SenseTime and is leading the team of Smart Health business. He received Ph.D in Computer Science from Rutgers, M.S. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and B.E. from Zhejiang University.
In the academic field, his research works have received several National Science Foundation (NSF) grants, and have won a number of awards for his research results, including multiple Young Scientist Awards at MICCAI and Best Paper Awards at ISBI. His cover papers and highly cited articles received over 11,000 citations, H-Index 52. In addition, he is also the recipient of Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award and editor of several international journals.
At SenseTime, he has boosted artificial intelligence applications in smart health, leading and contributing to the success on research, product development, business operation and strategic investment. He and his team
have obtained nearly 600 patent assets, over 20 software copyrights, multiple NMPA accreditation and CE marks, with AI-powered medical software being implemented in nearly 100 medical institutions.
