The surgical robots market is expected to reach $27.14b by 2030 at a compound annual growth rate of 14.7%, according to a MarketsandMarkets report.

The sector’s expansion is driven by the rising demand for minimally invasive surgeries, an increase in chronic diseases, and a growing ageing population.

Meanwhile, key developments include improved 3D visualisation, artificial intelligence-assisted navigation, and smaller robotic platforms.

“Hospitals are adopting robotic systems to enhance precision, repeatability, and efficiency in complex procedures,” the report said.
