AMC and Intuitive Surgical ink MoU for robotic surgery education

The partnership will involve systematised training and pilot studies for new systems.

South Korea’s Asan Medical Centre (AMC) have signed a memorandum of understanding with Intuitive Surgical, building on an existing partnership for mutual development in 2017.

Under the agreement, AMC plans to systematise its educational programmes in robotic surgery training for both domestic and international medical professionals.

In addition, the centre will participate in pilot studies for new robotic surgery systems.
