BDMS Wellness Clinic Laguna Phuket unveiled

It will offer preventive check-ups, vitamin therapy, hormone screening, and advanced facial treatments.

BDMS Wellness Clinic has teamed up with Bangkok Hospital Phuket and Laguna Phuket to launch the BDMS Wellness Clinic Laguna Phuket.

The BDMS Wellness Clinic Laguna Phuket is set to bolster Thailand’s health and medical tourism landscape, attracting international visitors, stimulating the local economy, and creating job opportunities.

Services will include preventive check-ups, vitamin therapy, hormone screening, and advanced facial treatments, integrating Thai hospitality with medical expertise.

Additionally, the clinic will offer a range of wellness services such as yoga retreats, traditional Thai healing practices, and spa treatments.

Led by Dr. Tanupol Virunhagarun, CEO of BDMS Wellness Clinic and BDMS Wellness Resort, alongside Dr. Narintara Boonjongcharoen, CEO of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (Group 6), and Mr. Ho Kwon Ping, Chairman of Laguna Resorts & Hotels Public Company Limited, the collaboration aims to position Phuket as a premier destination for wellness tourism.

Virunhagarun emphasised BDMS Wellness Clinic’s role in advancing Thailand’s medical tourism industry, citing significant growth post-pandemic.

The initiative aligns with Thailand’s 2022 launch of the Andaman Wellness Economic Corridor (AWC), aimed at enhancing medical tourism across six Andaman provinces, with Phuket at the forefront. It also underscores its commitment to positioning the region as a leading health destination, in sync with Thailand’s goal to become a global medical hub by 2026.

Key figures including Mr. Siripakorn Cheawsamoot of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Dr. Santi Pawai of the Ministry of Tourism & Sports, and Mr. Somsuk Sumparnprateep of the Phuket Provincial Public Health Office also attended the event.
