Acıbadem Kent Hospital in İzmir, Türkiye, has completed a major expansion and renovation following its acquisition by IHH Healthcare in 2023.
The hospital’s indoor area has more than doubled from 40,000 to 89,000 square metres with 272 patient beds.
The facility has also adopted the da Vinci Xi robotic surgery system, gamma knife radiosurgery, and a 3 Tesla MRI scanner.
The upgrade also includes specialised centres, such as an Organ Transplant Centre for liver, kidney, and bone marrow procedures, and an Oncology Centre.
In addition, the hospital features a 24/7 paediatric department with neonatal intensive care capabilities.
