Tam Anh Hospital adopts high-resolution CT scanner in Ho Chi Minh City
The tech helps visualise small abnormalities, like tumours and blood clots.
Tam Anh General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City has begun operating Siemens’ Somatom Force VB30 CT scanner.
The tech produces over 100,000 ultra-thin slices, each as thin as 0.4 mm, allowing clinicians to visualise small abnormalities, such as tumours, plaques, blood clots, stones and heart valve conditions.
Moreover, the scanner enables the detection of minute lesions in organs such as the liver and lungs.
