Perennial Holdings operates China’s first wholly foreign-owned tertiary hospital

The 500-bed facility is set to begin operations soon.

Perennial Holdings has announced that Perennial General Hospital in Tianjin has become China’s first wholly foreign-owned private tertiary hospital.

According to the group, the hospital passed the city’s Municipal Health Commission’s rigorous inspection and obtained its Medical Institution Practice Licence.

The 500-bed facility, which was developed and equipped at a total investment cost of $137.3b (RMB1b), is set to begin operations soon.
