Burjeel Holdings, Genalyte partner to introduce automated diagnostic system
The Merlin system is designed to deliver lab-accurate diagnostics in under 30 minutes.
Burjeel Holdings has partnered with US-based diagnostics company Genalyte to deploy the Merlin automated diagnostic system across its healthcare network.
The agreement, formalised through a ‘Letter of Intent’ signed during Abu Dhabi Global Health Week, outlines plans to integrate the platform into the group’s hospitals and medical centres once FDA clearance is granted.
The Merlin system is designed to deliver lab-accurate diagnostics in under 30 minutes and aims to cover up to 90% of the most commonly ordered blood tests.
“Merlin’s ability to deliver accurate results in minutes—without requiring a full lab—makes it an ideal solution to extend high-quality care throughout our network,” Safeer Ahamed, Group Co-CEO of Burjeel Holdings, said.
