Australia begins $535m expansion of Monash Medical Centre
The upgrade includes a seven-storey medical tower, expected by 2029.
Australia’s $535m expansion works on the Monash Medical Centre in Clayton are now underway, according to a press release.
It will deliver a new seven-storey medical tower above the newly expanded emergency department.
The tower will include expanded maternity services, operating theatres, a new intensive care unit, and new medical equipment for the Central Sterile Services Department.
Construction is expected to be complete in 2029.
