Aster RV Hospital uses CORI system for knee revision surgery
The technology generates a 3D mapping of the joint, supporting real-time imaging.
India’s Aster RV Hospital has performed Karnataka’s first robotic-assisted revision knee replacement using the CORI robotic system.
The technology generates a precise 3D mapping of the joint, supporting real-time imaging.
J V Srinivas, Lead Senior Consultant – Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement, said the technology enables surgeons to minimise bone removal whilst fitting new implants.
“Conventional surgery typically requires a fixed amount of bone removal, which may not be ideal for complex revision scenarios,” Srinivas added.
