Apollo Hospitals Indore adopts CORI surgery system for arthroplasty

The system’s features include image-free smart mapping, real-time planning, and precision milling.

Apollo Hospitals Indore has announced its adoption of the CORI surgery system for joint arthroplasty procedures.

The new system features advanced camera technology for quicker and more accurate imaging to provide surgeons precision and control during procedures for faster recovery and improved patient outcomes.

Moreover, the system’s modular design allows for easy scalability across other orthopaedic services.

“We have been able to deliver results at par with global standards by leveraging the capabilities of our robotic systems,” Sunil Rajan, senior consultant and head robotic joint replacement programme of Apollo Hospitals Indore, said.

“With the introduction of the CORI Surgical System, we will be able to revolutionize joint arthroplasty with features like image-free smart mapping, real-time planning, precision milling, intra-operative gap balancing, and compatibility with total and partial knee and hip surgery,” Rajan added.
