APAC to record fastest growth in global burn care market

One key driver is the expansion of healthcare centres in countries, such as China and India.

The Asia Pacific (APAC) region is projected to witness the fastest growth amongst its counterparts in the global burn care market through 2033, said Spherical Insights.

On a wider scale, the global market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.3% to reach $4.88b.

The region’s growth is attributed to a heightened awareness of burn care, a rise in injuries linked to industrialisation and accidents, and the expansion of healthcare centres in countries such as China and India.

Moreover, the sector is supported by increased recognition of research and development efforts and the availability of cost-effective treatment options, driving its expansion throughout the forecast period.
