New cancer care centre to launch at OFW Hospital, Philippines

Operations are planned to start in the first quarter of 2026.

Philippines’ OFW Hospital in Pampanga is set to house a new centre dedicated to cancer treatment.

The upcoming 'Bagong Pilipinas' Cancer Care Centre, located on the hospital’s second floor, is expected to accommodate up to 64 patients in need of treatment.

Moreover, it will provide various treatment modalities, including chemotherapy, diagnostic and staging services, and surgical oncology.

The facility’s construction is scheduled to begin in January 2025, with completion targeted for November of the same year.

Meanwhile, operations are planned to commence in the first quarter of 2026, following the acquisition of permits and licences from the Philippines’ Department of Health.
