NCCN, Vietnam National Cancer Hospital partner on new care guidelines
The initiative’s first set of guidelines focuses on non-small cell lung cancer.
The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) has collaborated with Vietnam National Cancer Hospital to introduce harmonised treatment guidelines for standardised care nationwide.
The initiative’s first set of guidelines focuses on non-small cell lung cancer and is available in both English and Vietnamese.
Moreover, additional guidelines for breast and liver cancer are currently under development, with the eventual goal of covering the ten most prevalent cancers in Vietnam.
The “NCCN Harmonised Guidelines” for Vietnam are adapted from the original NCCN clinical practice guidelines, with modifications for treating cancer in resource-constrained settings.
