2018 Healthcare Asia Forum Kuala Lumpur welcomed almost 60 delegates

Executives from Malaysia's big hospitals and healthcare firms converged at the event.

Healthcare Asia successfully closed the third leg of its 4-city 2018 Healthcare Asia Forum road show with a jam-packed event at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on April 26 with more than 50 delegates.

Shobena Singam, Vice President, Public Relations and Brand Communication at the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council, talked about medical tourism and the result of rising healthcare cost. She was followed by Dr Koh Kar Chai, honorary general secretary of the Malaysian Medical Association who discussed healthcare reforms amidst ballooning costs.

Chin Tuck Piew, Administrator of Human Resources, Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur tackled the country's ballooning budget amidst bigger healthcare expectations.
