Arnaud Bauer

Arnaud Bauer, a Partner in L.E.K. Consulting’s Singapore office, is the Head of Healthcare Services and Healthcare M&A for Southeast Asia. He has over 15 years of experience in strategy consulting in healthcare and private equity, advising investors, healthcare providers, and government agencies. His experience in the healthcare provider space spans the entire care continuum, including primary care, telehealth, multispecialty hospitals, IVF, long-term care, laboratories, mental health, and cosmetic centers, as well as with government agencies for healthcare investment planning and promotion across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. 

Prior to joining L.E.K., Arnaud was an Associate Principal at IQVIA in Singapore and Managing Director for a strategy consulting boutique in Dubai. He holds a Master of Engineering from École Centrale and a Master of Business from ESSEC Business School in partnership with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Asso. Prof. Dr. Lim Ren Jye

Dr. Lim Ren Jye earned his MBBS from International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia. After completing housemanship, hereceived the Malaysia Ministry of Health Scholarship andlater pursuedhis Masters in Integrated Medicine (Clinical-Herbal Oncology) at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM), China. In 2009, SHUTCM awarded him theShanghai Municipal Scholarship inhonor ofhispassion towardsclinical practice and his academic accomplishments.In 2011, Dr. Lim served the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia in his position as Senior Assistant Director where he was actively involved in the development of suitable policies that work to promote T&CM in the country.In 2013, Dr. Lim was appointedas Head of the T&CM Unit at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). During his full time tenure at NCI, Dr. Lim continued to provide consultations at Kepala Batas Hospital, Penang (monthly basis) and Tung Shin Hospital, Kuala Lumpur (weekly basis). In 2018, he obtained his PhD in Chinese Medicine from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NJUCM).Besides clinical works, Dr Lim is also holding position as visiting Aassociate Professor at China Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Lecturer at Malaysia International Medical University. He is also committed in giving public talks and volunteering at NGOs such as the Tzu Chi Foundation and various cancer support groups to instilawareness on cancer and good health care services. His passion has led him to his current reign as the Deputy Chairman of the Palliative Technical Committee in the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), President of Malaysia SHUCTM Alumni Association,panel member with the Malaysia Qualifications Agency and a member of Malaysia Medical Council (MMC) and the Malaysia Chinese Medicine Association (MCMA).Dr. Lim is also enthusiastic about T&CM research wherehe has participated as principal investigator or co-investigator, consultant and external reviewer to various publications related to the use of Chinese medicine in the treatment of cancer. His contributions to research have been acknowledged in Malaysian Health Technology Assessments, Science Citation Index (SCI) journals, handbooks and Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs).

As VP for the ASEAN and Korea region, Bill has been a driving force in building a strong, experienced team in serving enterprise customers in the BFSI, Manufacturing and Government verticals. Bill has vast experience across Asia Pacific, spending over 20 years, building a number of organizations, including Dell, into a significant presence in ASEAN.  His experience includes several years at Veritas and Symantec running the Enterprise Sales and Support teams for 4 years. Prior to Blue Prism, Bill has served as the Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan at Acronis and LogRhythm with experience in Security Intelligence, Machine Learning and .AI for threat detection.

Bryan Lin

Bryan Lin is a senior leader in healthcare management and currently the Chief Executive Officer of Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC), Malaysia. Calvin Wijaya

Calvin is a Senior Manager with Bain’s Southeast Asia Healthcare Practice based in Singapore. He has more than 10 years of industry experience advising pharmaceutical, medical devices and healthcare providers across the Southeast Asia region on a wide range of topics including corporate strategy, digital strategy, growth strategy, market entry, go-to-market strategy and portfolio management. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.

Chelsea Cheng

Chelsea joined Sunway Healthcare Group (“SHG”) as Group Director, Finance in January 2021. Since joining SHG, Chelsea has been instrumental as a trusted strategic business advisor to the President of SHG, Managing Director, CEOs and GMs of various business units. She is responsible for formulating the annual business plan and long-term financial strategy of the group. She engages regularly with insurance companies and third-party administrators alongside SHG’s Brands, Marketing & Communication team, with the aim of improving patient experience and developing win-win solutions. 

Recently, Chelsea established the Group Strategic Sourcing and Procurement unit in order to drive procurement synergy, cost efficiency and strategic vendor relationship management. Meanwhile, she is also overseeing and supporting the commissioning of various greenfield hospital projects as well as the expansion of ancillary healthcare services such as ambulatory care centres, home healthcare, senior living residences and traditional & complementary medicine centres.  

She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand), Chartered Banker and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Prior to joining SHG, Chelsea has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry and a Big 4 accounting firm, spanning across a wide variety of roles including investor relations, business planning and analysis, corporate services, treasury, audit, advisory and compliance.

Chris Hardesty

Chris is a Partner at Pureland Venture, looking after value creation activities for post-investment scale-up of healthtech innovation companies.  In addition, Chris moreover serves in the KPMG Global Health Centre of Excellence and as a strategic advisor for policy dialogue at APACMed (with a particular focus in the digital health domain).  Chris holds additional healthcare ecosystem roles too ranging from public/private UHC design taskforces through to visiting lectureship at leading academic centres.  Chris is presently based in Singapore, having lived and worked around the globe; he is most passionate about bringing safe, effective, economically-viable medical innovations to those populations in need.

Chu Canh Chieu

Chu Canh Chieu is Head of Global Healthcare Solutions at FPT Software. Fresh out of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, he joined FPT Software in 2006 as a developer before taking on multiple managerial roles at the company. In 2016, he was appointed Business Unit Leader and gained success in developing the business unit in terms of both size and operating markets. Chieu contributed significantly to laying the foundation for the company's strategic unit in healthcare solutions.

Chu Canh Chieu was named amongst FPT Corporation's 100 Best Performers in 2008, 2014, and 2019.
