Emma Sterling

Emma is a Senior Consultant at ACG, Hong Kong, where she works closely with a range of healthcare providers, insurance, and pharma clients. Emma leverages her background in health policy and strategy to help organisations to achieve their objectives in healthcare excellence; often through major change projects and thought leadership. She is particularly interested enabling and spreading health-tech innovation within healthcare systems to improve quality and access equity. Prior to joining ACG, Emma worked under the NHS Graduate Management Scheme; the UK’s fast-track leadership scheme aimed at cultivating tomorrow’s healthcare Directors and CEO’s.

Emma developed her skills for consulting within a placement in KPMG’s Universal Health Coverage Team. She supported the Global Centre of Excellence to assess different paths to UHC and the current limitations and positives of these approaches. Emma undertook an MSc in Health Policy from Imperial College London, and a BSc in Medical Genetics from the University of Leicester.

Esther Saguil

Dr. Saguil currently serves as the President of the Philippine Surgical Infection Society and Chair of the Committee on Surgical Infections at the Philippine College of Surgeons. She is also the Chair of the Department of Outpatient Services at the Philippine General Hospital.

She had previously held the role of President of the Philippine Society of Paediatric Surgeons and is currently a board member on the Association of Women Surgeons and Philippine Society for the Surgery of Trauma, among others.

Dr. Saguil frequently speaks at national and hospital-level conferences on matters related to SSIs, most recently participating in discussions that took place at the first-ever Care+ Asia Pacific Masters SSI Prevention Symposium. This event, organised by Ethicon, brought together a consortium of international experts to strategise how Asia-Pacific can advance the adoption and implementation of global guidelines, as well as institute surveillance methods to reduce the risk of SSIs.

Hoo Ling Lee

Ling Lee has 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specialising in strategy development, hospital acquisition, operational leadership, lean management and financial management.

Prior to joining Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Ling Lee was the Chief Executive Officer at Pantai Hospital Ampang and the Head of Strategy and Special Projects for IHH Healthcare Malaysia for 10 years, overseeing the organisation’s overall strategy and business development and instrumental in many greenfield and brownfield projects in the country.

Ling Lee was with Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and National University Hospital (NUH) Singapore before returning home to Malaysia. She loves sharing her healthcare experiences and she is a Visiting Lecturer at International Medical University (IMU). She takes on topic relating to healthcare strategy and healthcare operations.

Ling Lee has a Degree of Economics from National University of Malaysia (UKM) and is currently pursuing her Masters of Law from Taylor’s Law School.
