He leads our Healthcare and Life Sciences practice for Southeast Asia and, since joining Bain in 2010, Alex has led numerous strategy and transformation programs with healthcare companies across the region and value chain; covering payers, providers, pharma, MedTech and digital health. David Boucher has worked in healthcare for over 40 years, the last two years as Chief of Service Excellence with Dubai-based Aster DM Healthcare. Prior to that David served as Chief Business Transformation Officer at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Between 2000 and 2017, he served as an executive of BlueCross of South Carolina. From 2012-2017, David served as President of UCI Medical Affiliates in Columbia, SC. In that capacity, he managed 80 retail medical care centers- treating over 740,000 patients in 2017. From 2006 through 2016, Mr. Boucher also served as President of Companion Global Healthcare, Inc. – the world’s only medical tourism facilitator owned by a major health insurer. Prior to 2000, David served as CEO at several hospitals in the U.S.
Mr. Boucher earned his BS degree from Slippery Rock University (PA) and a MPH from the University of South Carolina; he has been named a distinguished alumnus by both institutions.
David has been quoted in over 250 newspapers and journals including The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, The Economist, U.S. News & World Reports. He has been interviewed on NBC Nightly News and Fox Business News. He as delivered lectures on disruptive innovation in healthcare at Harvard Business School, Yale School of Management, and Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Walter has twenty years of experience in the Singapore and Asia-pacific healthcare markets.
In his role as the Singapore Managing Director at Fullerton Health, Dr. Walter leads health tech initiatives in Singapore including telemedicine and healthcare analytics. He also oversees Clinical Services in Singapore including primary care, allied health, pharmacy, and ambulance services.
He has led multiple COVID-19 response projects with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Manpower, and driven the integration of wellness, health screening, and primary care services to form Fullerton Health Singapore's Primary & Preventive Care Division.
He was previously Managing Director at Integrated Health Plans (IHP) overseeing corporate health business lines for its group insurance and employer benefits client base in Singapore and Malaysia.
In his earlier career, he served as an investment professional in a corporate venture capital fund linked to Singapore's Economic Development Board and was part of the team during the establishment of Singapore’s National Electronic Health Record. He also practiced as a physician at Singapore General Hospital and various SingHealth group institutions.

Mr Yong Yih Ming has almost two decades of healthcare experience as a business and operational leader with IHH Healthcare, one of the world’s largest healthcare networks with 82 hospitals in 10 countries, Raffles Medical Group (RMG), a leading integrated private healthcare provider in Asia, and Alexandra Hospital (AH), a Singapore tertiary hospital of the National University Health System.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of one of Singapore’s largest private tertiary and multispecialty healthcare facility at Mount Elizabeth Hospital (MEH). Prior to this, he was General Manager of Singapore’s largest private network of outpatient ambulatory facilities and was heading the Covid-19 projects at RMG. He had hospital development and operations experiences at AH.
As Chief Executive Officer of MEH, he is responsible for its financial targets, operational quality, and licensee obligations of the 345-bed JCI accredited tertiary hospital with a community of 600 doctors and 1,300 healthcare workers. He is a member of the Medical Advisory Board, MCST Council and is also responsible for the multi-year hospital redevelopment project – Project Renaissance.
At RMG, he was an EXCO member and GM of Raffles Medical. He was responsible for the financial targets, growing and managing RMG’s corporate businesses, the operational quality and licensee obligations of the 50 ambulatory, primary care and health screening facilities, including national Covid-19 projects. In 2010, he led a team to set up RMG’s flagship medical facility in Shanghai, China.
At AH, he managed ambulatory operations, operational support services and business development. He was a member of the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Planning Committee that designed the hospital and chaired the Operational Support Services Workgroup.
He has guest lectured at the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health’s Master of Public Health programme since 2018 and holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the NUS Business School. He was a member of the MOH Primary Care Network Council and volunteers as a District Councillor with the South East Community Development Council since 2011.

During the pandemic, Speedoc was a key member in Singapore’s COVID-19 response providing telemedicine services, administering COVID-19 vaccinations and other nursing services to the housebound. As part of the efforts to uplift the healthcare landscape, Serene also worked with government and hospital partners to pilot and create the Hospital@Home virtual hospital service in Singapore. Speedoc has since discharged more than 4,000 patients successfully from its virtual hospital programme.
