Raymond Chong Chin Wah took over the reins of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care (RSDH) in Asia as Group chief executive officer on 1 December, the company announced.
Chong held senior management level positions in Malaysia’s healthcare industry with private hospitals and medical supply chain organizations. With over 30 years in healthcare, he has experiences in managing hospitals in Australia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
Prior to joining RSDH, Raymond was the CEO of Bangkok Dusit Medical Service, managing the hospital group Samitivej Public Company Limited and various healthcare wellness businesses in Thailand including the commissioning of a 294-room wellness resort catering for residential medical and wellness programmes.
He has also held various posts in private hospitals and medical supply chain businesses over the years with extensive regional and international experience in Southeast Asia and with St. John of God Healthcare System in Australia.
