OUE funds NTU Singapore professorship in healthcare tech
OUE endowed US$2.3m to NTU to establish the Stephen Riady Professorship.
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU), OUE Limited, and OUE Healthcare unveiled the US$2.3m (S$3m) Stephen Riady Professorship to drive tech-enabled, integrative medicine research.
The endownment anchors NTU's push into early medical interventions and healthier longevity.
The professorship will spearhead interdisciplinary research spanning biomedical engineering, digital health, artificial intelligence, robotics, wearable sensors, telemedicine, nutritional science, and integrative medicine.
Separately, NTU and OUE Healthcare will collaborate on integrative healthcare models combining Western medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), covering joint research projects, clinical training for TCM practitioners, and academic conferences.
OUE Healthcare, together with associated company Healthway Medical Corporation, has already opened two Integrative Medicine clinics, in Hougang and Aljunied, with more planned.
