KPJ and SingHealth formalise ties on research, training and innovation
Five strategic areas are covered, including Clinical Education.
KPJ Healthcare Berhad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SingHealth to collaborate on healthcare innovation, clinical research, education and medical simulation.
The MoU brings together KPJ Healthcare's network of specialist hospitals under the KPJ Health System with SingHealth's network.
Five strategic areas are covered, including Clinical Education and Workforce Development, Research and Innovation, Clinical Collaboration, Digital Health & AI, and Knowledge Exchange.
Additionally, initial activities include fellowships, specialist attachments, academic exchanges, joint research, scientific publications, conferences, healthcare leadership development, medical simulation, and co-management of complex clinical cases.
For KPJ Healthcare, the collaboration supports the continued advancement of KPJHS by accelerating integration of Practice, Education, Research and Innovation through international partnership, enabled via its Future Health Institute (FHI).
KPJ Healthcare operates 30 hospitals and three Ambulatory Care Centres across Malaysia, serving 3.3 million patients annually with 1,491 medical consultants.
