Despite the falling numbers, net profit for the first nine months of the year is still ahead of 2019 results.
Hyphens Pharma International Limited has noted that “challenges from COVID-19” have affected its profitability for the third quarter, withh a net profit loss of 53% for the three months to 30 September.
Revenue for Q3, however, rose from S$30.7m to S$31.4m, a 2.4% YoY increase.
The company still reported an increase of 5.5% YoY in the nine months ended 30 September despite grim results for Q3.
Hyphens Pharma’s proprietary brands reported the most contribution for 9M2020 earning S$13.6m from S$10.7m the previous year.
