He worked as clinical practitioner for 4 years and worked in different managerial positions for more than 5 years. Despite of all the challenges in Myanmar, he is managing to support filmless and paperless digital hospital operation in 3 hospitals and 4 clinics across the country. 

Myanmar is currently going through a hard time but he believes that quality healthcare will always be a demand. He is currently leading the innovative delivery of care through available technology and data usages for the hospitals’ catchment population of 5 Millions. His academic background includes clinical, managerial and digital technologies from Myanmar and UK.

Arup is thought healthcare leader and an industry veteran with 29+ years of experience. In his diversified career, Arup has worked with Healthcare Technology space, Healthcare Service Provider’s space and also has helped Healthcare Management Institute as lecturer and designing Healthcare IT programs and course materials. Arup has a very successful program management records and has made program management a passion & an Art. He has also earned Honorable Doctorate degree for his social and professional contributions in Healthcare & program management. He is also a freelance writer on healthcare space.

Arup is a Science graduate with Masters in Business Management. Currently Arup is working as Deputy Head of IT of IHH Healthcare Malaysia. Prior to this, he has worked in Healthcare organizations such as iSoft, Dell etc.
